DESCRIPTION:This year's 2020 Brandon Polar Plunge for Special Olympics South Dakota will be bigger than EVER on Saturday\, March 7! In 2019\, 63 Plungers raised over $19\,000 for Special Olympics South Dakota\, the Brandon Sprinters\, and the Brandon Lynx local programs! We want to exceed these numbers and get even more participants to take the Plunge   but we need your help to do that! It's never too early to start fundraising\, planning your costume\, and recruiting your team members! You may be cold after you jump in the water\, but we can promise you that you will warm up quickly when you see the smiles and joy that your efforts and bravery help bring to our 2\,500 Special Olympics South Dakota athletes! Register now to get started on your fundraising quest! Make sure to visit www.plungesd.org for more tools and resources. Make sure to check out the cool prizes you could get for going above and beyond in your fundraising! Registration will begin at 10:30 am on the west side of Brandon Valley High School\, with the Plunge starting at 12:00 pm. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to register and change for the Plunge! Don't forget to bring a change of clothes (including shoes)\, towel\, funds raised and your costume! Be prepared to have tons of fun while you are "Freezin for a Reason!"
