Pub Theology - Politics in the Personal
Name: Pub Theology - Politics in the Personal
Date: October 14, 2018
Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM CDT
Pub Theology is a series of informal conversations about life and faith. We meet in public places (such as bars) to have conversations about how our theology (whatever you believe about God) impacts our lives and what that looks like in daily living. This month we are tackling the question of how your faith impacts (or doesn't) your political views... and guess what each person will have a different answer!
The ground rules for our conversations are as follows.
1. Be respectful; be loving in your speech and engagement.
2. We talk about ISSUES/IDEAS only, NOT CANDIDATES.
3. There are no right answers, if you don't understand something. Ask respectful questions that seek understanding.
4. Don't take yourself too seriously! These are serious conversations about important matters but if you can't find joy and humor in them, then you may want to examine why that is.
Hope to see you at Pub Theology! - Pastor Dan
