Just about every employer has a recruiting nightmare or horror story to tell – from the work comp scam artist who managed to injure his back during the first week of a sedentary job, to the new supervisor who claimed she had specific computer skills but couldn’t operate a laptop!
According to the Department of Labor, 80% of turnover can be attributed to some breakdown in the hiring decision. Our goal in this webinar is to provide you with some lessons, tools and to-do’s (antidotes) to help you become more effective in your recruiting and screening efforts to prevent or minimize future nightmares.
Two highly experienced HR and talent acquisition experts will talk about advice and assistance they provide their clients throughout the Midwest, and answer questions from webinar participants.
Gail Anderson is an HR Senior Consultant with Alternative HR. She has over 20 years of recruiting experience, including serving as VP of Human Resources in a manufacturing facility, and as a Regional Operations Manager in the staffing industry.
Tasia Dass, SHRM-SCP, was a Corporate Recruitment Manager and HR Director in the energy industry for nine years, where she specialized in filling technical positions within the industry and working with department managers to meet their hiring needs. She joined Alternative HR as an HR Consultant earlier this year.
