Marshal/Starter - Brandon Golf Course
Are you great with people and looking for a fun summer job that has you working outdoors? The Brandon Golf Course is seeking a Marshal/Starter to join the summer team! You'll be responsible for monitoring the first tee and/or pace of play on the golf course and enforcing golf course policies.
STARTING PAY $12.00/HOUR
Duties:
- Enforces golf course policies: Examples include making sure groups tee off in proper order, ensure all players have paid golf and/or cart fees before teeing off, monitoring and enforcing pace of play policies, breaking up six-somes and enforcing cart path rules
- Assist in golf outings including placement and pickup of pin prizes, signage, and tables and chairs
- Asking golfers to pick up their pace of play or follow any other rule/policy in a courteous and respectful manner
- Picking up trash and fixing divots in fairways as well as ball marks on greens
- Keeping communication with Pro-shop
- Any other work related duties directed by the Golf Course Manager and/or Pro-shop Attendant
- Willing and able to work early mornings, evenings and weekends
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or sufficient work related experience
- Effective in working with the general public and co-workers.
- Needs to have strong customer service skills
Must be at least 16 years old with a valid driver's license and available to work a variety of hours between 6 am and 10 pm based upon scheduled events and activities.
Prefer a candidate with good customer service skills and a self-starter.
